Mitigating the Impact of COVID-19 on Child Malnutrition in Mexico

The COVID-19 pandemic has worsened child malnutrition in Mexico, with increased poverty and disruptions to nutrition and health services. ST4N’s new blog presents findings from an ST4N-funded case study led by the Mexican National Institute of Public Health. The study simulated how investing in a basic package of nutrition services could significantly reduce levels of child malnutrition and associated mortality. It underscores the importance of making the right investments to curb the long-term consequences of the pandemic.
